What are you listening to right now?

[Arktis 3]

Neat.  Listening to it right now with mplayer.

[Hilander72 13]

Yeah, I noticed a mplayer connecting to the stream... :)

Does it sound horrible? ???

.

[Arktis 3]

Kinda fuzzy, yeah.  Not too bad though, as long as I don't jack up the volume.

[Amnot Borg 11]

I thought we were supposed to PM replies about his streaming stuff?

It sounds ok. would be better if I had a faster connection...

I could lower the bitrate of the stream, but the quality of the audio would suffer too...

128kbps is in my ears still 'horrible' but audible for short periods. ;)

(+1 Q to Arktis & AmnotBorg)

LOL, being on dialup, I'm used to music streaming sounding... um... not so good. ;)

It was a test. You proved it worked. Enjoy!

[Hilander72 13]

I've made a playlist (below, playlist-hilander72.txt). All are played shuffled (random order) and on repeat (almost 7h of music).

Enjoy (if you're into trance).

EDIT: Changed to 192kbps and added some more tracks (no update of playlistfile though, too much work...)

Hilander never told me he had a new music player :(

Well i'm listening to the new Doctor Who soundtrack because it#s just so damn cool :D

[Hilander72 13]

It's a streaming audio (like web radio) and it's still running (non-stop since I started to 'air' it 13h ago).

You can still listen in if you want... (check my sig)

Right now I'm listening to Ascii Antics by MC Plus+. You can get a rediculous amount of nerdcore hop hop (rap about computers, gaming, and other general nerdish things) from here

[Guest Mrthumps]

- Hironobu Kageyama & Keiju Ishikawa - "We’ve Got Power"

- Chris Cornell - "You know my name"

- DHT - "Listen to your heart" (techno version)
