The Orville

[dBLOOD 1]

The 'The Orville' is Seth McFerrin's sci-fi series in the spirit of classic Star Trek, like TOS and TNG. Sometimes its comical, sometimes its bold in terms of its themes. The series is already through one season consisting of twelve episodes, successful enough to get a second season, the first episode of which is airing on the 31st of December!
(Second season trailer, might contain mild spoilers!)

Will need to give this a re-watch. Think it's available on NowTV in the UK.

I caught the first episode but didn't quite catch on, but trailer for season 2 looks cool. Seems more serious than what I saw.

Just watched the last episode, its so funny, I love it!

Update: Marina Sirtis in Orville!

Marina Sirtis appears as a guest in The ~Orvile S02x12!

If you don't know who Marina Sirtis is what the hell are you doing here!?

I recently watched season 1 and 2 of the orville on your recommendation and I thought it was quite funny. It's very obvious it's heavily influenced by the Star Trek TNG type of Star Trek, but way less serious and hella more funny. I quite enjoyed it. :-)
