    Doctor Who

I must have missed this Doctor? πŸ˜›
  3. Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald is released 16th November and this is one I'm looking forward to seeing (Despite the sketchy reviews). This movie features the full arrival of Johnny Depp's character, as well as Jude Law playing a young and sexually ambiguous Dumbledore! Not sure if there are any fans of the Harry Potter series out there?

    donald I guess

That too, I'm just not much of a typical tourist, but I would like to see Highlander-land too if I can! πŸ™‚

    New Sabrina

So I've watched the first episode... Wasn't the worst thing ever, but I got bored at times. You're right, it's got a lot of the same elements as other teen fantasy shows. I'll give episode 2 a go and see if it improves a bit. Btw, I hope you don't mind, I threw an image into your first post. I'm adding it to the "featured topics" as they're getting a little out of date. πŸ˜›

Yeah, when Nite went a bit quiet, TeusoShima and I petitioned him to let us take over so that the community has some kind of development team. He was a Star Trek mod before that; I was Stargate. I tried emailing him but haven't had any reply yet. But then I emailed you a while back and it took you a bit of time to fin the forums again, so maybe it'll just take a bit more time. πŸ™‚ I think Highlander was BSG? And then we have Sov13t I can't remember what he started off as, but I remember he looked after the forums when NiteShdw got into trouble. He was also maintained NiteShdw's Gaming Server I think - we played a lot of Counter Strike: Source back in the day. I do miss those days!

    New Sabrina

Okay, so what happened is I watched literally the first scene, realized that in tone the series has nothing to do with the old Sabrina series, stopped watching it right away, and cancelled my Netflix subscription, also right away! I am not exaggerating, that is exactly what happened! So I could not tell you whether the series goes anywhere or not.

Yes, he took over the original forums - right? Wow, I miss these guys.. How do we track him down? Wasn't Highlander a Stargate fan too?

    Doctor Who

I really like the classic series references. This is reminding me more pf the Christopher Davidson series. I always hope that the next Doctor is crazy/funny/fun like Tom Baker. He was my favorite.

    New Sabrina

The original Sabrina, was a sit-com. This new series is far from that. I've only watched the pilot, it has potential,,, It seems to be leaning into a grittier/realer world. Does it go anywhere dBLood? Or does it just get bogged down by teenage themes like romance etc?

    Flush the Airlock!

It is essentially summer holidays for everyone over here. And Party Time! Dec, Jan and Feb and then its Festival season. It's damn hot over here in those months, with most days above 30oC. Late Jan & Feb, have temps at 40oC and above for much of the time. Honestly, anything in the mid 30's is a normal day. I'm not sure how you Scott's would enjoy that πŸ™‚

    New Sabrina

Okay, sorry, I'm doing this all the time, let me explain myself! The original Sabrina-series was a comedy series targeting mostly teenagers. It's not bad, it's just that it feels to me like Riverdale, or True Blood, or the other young adult horror/drama series they make these days. I was disappointed because I loved the original Sabina, so much so that I stopped watching it after seeing the first scene of the pilot. I haven't seen Riverdale, but you see one of these young adult series, you see them all. It felt like Smallville with horror. I don't want to ruin anybidy's fun, I would recommend you to watch the pilot and than decide!

    New Sabrina

This is actually on our watch list on Netflix. Is it really that bad? I wasn’t bothered for the original, so I thought this would be bad anyway. Netflix does have a good track record with these things though. (I do agree riverdale looks awful though so if it’s similar it won’t last in my house)

I am dreading winter. We don’t even get it bad here in Scotland compared to many places but I just hate the cold, the rain, the dark....ughhh... I’ll take your silly season........how silly?

Wow, I forgot about Dr. Stregke, although I admit I have forgotten how they were... I seem to remember English not being a strong point? TetsuoShima - another former admin I've lost contact with in the chaos. Always remember he kept me from breaking the forums back in the day. And then he disappeared...and the forums broke... πŸ€”

c4evap would have been my next guess too. I will try to find some old contact details for D. Now, back to challenge... Dr.Stregke

Well, I've finally managed to track down an old copy of the forum database (As in, THE forum from before the crash). Now I just need to figure out how to get it working again. πŸ€”

    New Forums (again!)

I think you need to increase the image size. The TARDIS image shows more of the image, than the Stargate you just added. The Stargate one seems more 'zoomed in'. And it is half the rez of the TARDIS image. Try to double the image size and see if that makes any difference. If it does, you can then slice them down to banners size πŸ™‚

Yes, IT'S ALIVE! It's been a very busy time for me lately. But things will settle down in a couple of weeks. As you lot settle in for winter, I am heading into what we call the 'Silly Season'. I am so happy that the forums are back to help restore some sanity. And I will finally get to catch up on many series I have missed. [or will watch again]

I'm fairly certain I was fortunate enough not to be a moderator back when BorisP was around. I think c4evap was one who had the most dealings with him. (Since she's mentioned, c4evap can be the next member to mention). Star Trek moderator (I think). One of the early ones. I remember I had a bit of a disagreement with her at one point (Something silly, but I think we sorted it out). Would be great to have her back.

[Red Faced] Oh yeh, that. We LOVE you Nite!!! I do remember some of you meeting up, at some point. perhaps we should try to 'poke the old bear' and see who is around these days. How big is the contact list TFMF?

    New Series Announced

Perhaps our peers can start recommending TOS Animated episodes for you to watch, to speed up the time. [sounds like a whole new topic πŸ™‚] As a Treker/Trekie(?) fanatic, I make my pilgrimage every few years. Watching ALL of Star Trek in order, paying special attention to the release/air dates. And there is always everyone's opinion on a 'Machete order'. i.e "Watch it in this order, minus these episodes" YES! Looks like there are many posts to make... And well before they start airing new Start Trek.
